Green Mountain Linen Company is committed to stewarding land and building community through the process of growing flax for fiber. Through regenerative and sustainable practices, we will produce organic linen kitchen textiles.
Centered in the Broad Brook Valley of Vermont, we are integrally linked to the other North American flax growers, European linen producers, and weavers and artisans worldwide.
We are committed to growing quality long-line linen fibers in Vermont, teaching others about the plant-to-textile process at our annual linen fair, and engaging farmers, artists, spinners and weavers in our ongoing work.
We are in the flax-growing and processing stage of our initiative and are weaving prototype products.
We anticipate offering our first products for sale in 2024.
By creating Green Mountain Linen, my intention is to carry on my grandfather’s legacy of promoting healthy, sustainable farming in the Broad Brook Valley
